Summer Bucket List 2023 | North Houston Moms

Pack a sack lunch and go swimming!

Not sure where to go or open hours and pricing? Check out the township guides for The Woodlands and Conroe for all the information! Needing swim lessons to feel prepared this season? We’ve got you covered with our Swim Lesson Guide.

Go on a park adventure around The Woodlands

Follow along with @northhoustonmoms on Instagram as we explore parks in and around The Woodlands! We also have our roundup of our Top 5 Parks in North Houston as well as a Padded Playground Map.

Visit all the North Houston splash pads

While the pool is a great option, sometimes it’s nice to splash around without actually going swimming. We did the work for you and rounded up the splash pads all throughout North Houston.

Eat at a restaurant with a play area

Going out to eat is expensive enough, it would be great to go somewhere that kids can play! Check out this curated map with grassy areas, playgrounds, or designated kid spots.

Live music at Waterway Nights (Saturdays) or Heritage Place (Thursdays)

It’s fun to get out and listen to live music! Our calendar has all the details about these events (and more!)

Visit one of the indoor play places around town

We created a reel of the Top 5 Indoor Play Places to Visit in Montgomery County! There are many options to visit on days that are too hot or rainy. Don’t forget about the downtown Houston options as well: museums, NASA, and the zoo
