Tuesday, July 2

Family Night – Fourth of July Craft

Wednesday, July 3

Star Spangled Salute

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, 6:30pm

The annual tradition that is ever growing stronger returns to unite communities, delight families and honor our greatest public servants once more! Join The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for the Star-Spangled Salute, a FREE event with the Houston Symphony on Wednesday, July 3, 2023. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Show begins at 8 p.m.

 

Thursday, July 4

Fourth of July Parade in The Woodlands

Market Street, 9am

Put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the exciting South County Fourth of July Parade. The 1.3-mile parade around The Woodlands features marching bands, fire engines, clowns, floats and more! Note: Roads will be closed during the parade; please view the route map for details.

 

Red, Hot & Pool

Various pool in The Woodlands, 10am-6pm

Each pool will have different themes, activities and refreshments (while supplies last). The Woodlands Red, Hot & Pool will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Grab your swimsuit and we’ll see you there! Please note daily fees will apply for residents and non-residents. Entry is free for season pool pass holders.

 

Fourth of July Parade & Party in the Park

Marilyn Edgar Park, 11am-1pm

Come join the City of Oak Ridge North for the annual 4th of July parade, party in the park, and car show. Parade starts at 10am; Party in the Park & Car Show: 11am- 1pm.

 

Fourth of July Celebration

Pine Market, 6-8pm

Bring on the American Pride and help us celebrate America’s independence at our 4th of July Celebration from 6-8PM! We’ll have live music from Walker County Line Band, pony rides, a rock wall and plenty of other festivities! This will be a star-spangled celebration you don’t want to miss.

 

Red, Hot & Blue Festival

Five Locations in The Woodlands, 6pm-10pm

Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment and family fun at multiple locations around The Woodlands! The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area.

Enjoy a variety of activities throughout The Woodlands at the below locations! All sites will feature live music beginning at 6 p.m. with bands playing until the Fireworks Extravaganza at approximately 9:30 p.m. For the comfort and safety of all attendees, oversized beach umbrellas and pop-up tents are not permitted at the Festival. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. 

As a reminder, East Shore is not an official viewing location for Township fireworks. Please visit one of the five official locations below. 

1. Town Green Park (2099 Lake Robbins Drive)
Town Green Park Freedom Stage – Leslie Lugo (Variety) 
Town Green Park Independence Stage – D’Luna (Variety)

Festival activities include fireworks, strolling entertainment, face painting, balloon art, children’s arts and crafts, concessions and live music on two stages. 

2. Northshore Park (2505 Lake Woodlands Drive)
Level One Band  (Motown/Funk)
Festival activities include fireworks, face painting, balloon art, concessions and live music. 

**Residents should be advised Northshore Park access will be affected on specified days for event preparations and set up:

    • Limited to minimal vehicular traffic July 2 through 3. 
    • No vehicular access on July 4 for safety and security, reopening on July 5 with limited vehicular access.

3. Waterway Square (31 Waterway Square Place)
Time Warp (80s, 90s & Today’s Hits)
Festival activities include fireworks, face painting, balloon art, concessions and live music. Fourth of July Parade Awards at 7 p.m.

4. Rob Fleming Park (6055 Creekside Forest Drive)
Festival activities include fireworks only. Please note there will be no vendors booths, concessions, live music or other activities at this event location.

5. Hughes Landing (1900 Hughes Landing Boulevard)
Flashpoint (Dance/Rock/Variety)
Festival activities include fireworks and live music.
Please note there may be limited visibility of the fireworks at Hughes Landing due to trees and buildings.

Fireworks Launch Locations
The 18-minute Fireworks Extravaganza will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m. The primary fireworks display will be located near Northshore Park/Lake Woodlands, with a secondary close-proximity (special effects) display at Town Green Park. The 2024 Fireworks Extravaganza will also feature a fireworks display in the Waterway Square District near Timberloch Place and Waterway Avenue and Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park. To ensure spectators have the best fireworks visibility possible, fireworks teaser shots will be fired from all launch locations at 9, 9:10 and 9:20 p.m.

Saturday, July 6

Old Town Spring Freedom Festival

Old Town Spring, 11am-5pm

Join us for a town-wide celebration in Old Town Spring! The Freedom Festival will feature activities for all ages, including live music, family-friendly contests and games, a DJ, and a street parade led by Uncle Sam. The event will take place on Saturday, July 6th, with activities at the museum parking lot, the OTS Live Music page, Gentry Square, and Main Street. Don’t miss out on the fun and come celebrate with us!
