My name is Sarah Derouen. I’m a photographer on the weekends and a nutrition coach on the weekdays. I recently moved here from Louisiana and have loved every bit of Texas so far. I picked up my first camera in 2012 when I couldn’t afford my own bridal pictures. When I started the editing process, I fell in love with the idea of creating & telling a story through my lens. A couple years later, I suddenly lost my father. In the funeral planning process I realized that I barely captured any photos of us together throughout our life. In that very moment, I told myself I’ll never slip through the cracks again of not capturing all the lasting memories through pictures. If you know me you know, my phone stays in my hand and I’m consistently documenting and capturing everything; my family, my kids and all the important memories in between. At the end of the day, money can buy all the nice things. But those are only things. The best money spent is captured memories to look back at. It’s all we will ever have to tell/share our lives with others.
Now, 10 years in the business I have the opportunity to document other families precious memories. My favorite way to work is chatting and getting to know my clients. Making sure they are comfortable for their experience and as fun as possible. I have mini session prices always running because let’s face it men hate pictures! So I always want to offer that to my clients!

Hi there! I am Carly Douglas, owner of Firefly Photography. I have always had a love of taking pictures & capturing special moments. About 7 years ago, a friend asked me to take some photos for her & the rest is history! Firefly Photography was created! I fell in love with being able to freeze time in photographs for precious families to cherish forever. I am a natural light/lifestyle photographer.
